It's pretty without the fairy lights switched on.

And even more stunning with them on!

To make the 3D Bauble Christmas Tree Artwork,

You will need.

A 16 x 12 inch/40x30cm stretched canvas

Glue gun and gluesticks

Scissors

9 large non-glass baubles (7 1/2 inch/19cm size)

10 medium non-glass baubles (6 1/2 inch/16cm size)

About 23 small baubles

Embellishments like mini pine cones, pine or holly leaves, fine tinsel, berries, bells, mini metal stars, etc.

A flat-backed focal ornament for the top of the tree. Bird, a star, a Santa, a gingerbread house, or, actually, anything you want!

A string of battery-operated mini fairy lights.

The first step is to cut the tops off all the baubles.

Glue 5 large baubles about 1 1/2 inch/4cm up from the bottom edge of the canvas in a straight row.

Place another row of four above these, glueing to the canvas.

Do the same again with four medium sized baubles.

Then above those four a row of three medium-sized baubles.

Then add two more medium-sized baubles above that.

Add one more for the top of the tree.

Next, we glue on small baubles to fill the gaps between the large and medium ones.

Glue on some Christmas greenery on your design.

I used pine picks.

Add your focal point ornament.

Once that is done, you can add the other embellishments you have chosen, and finally weave the fairy lights around the 3D tree.

I used small drops of glue to hold them in place.
