DIY Spring Chair

I designed a Spring Attachable Comfort Chair inspired by a traditional Indian mudaa (round stool). This chair has a special spring mechanism attached at the middel, which gives a slight bouncing (jumping) effect when a person sits on it.

Supplies

Some 3D Objects just like Matel Spring, Two Cone, Two Handel and One a Wooden Chair.

3D Design Software Tinkercad.

Step 1: Add the Metal Spring

  1. Use cylinder rings or scribble tool to design a metal spring shape
  2. Adjust height properly
  3. Use Align tool to center it

Step 2: Add Two Cones

  1. Drag two cone shapes
  2. Place one at bottom side for support
  3. Place another at upper side for support
  4. Adjust rotation and size properly

Step 3: Add a Wooden Chair

  1. Cut A Wooden Chair Upper Part and
  2. Fixed the hight and diameter of part.

Step 4: Final Alignment and Grouping

  1. Select all objects
  2. Use Align tool for proper position
  3. Click Group to combine all parts
  4. Change colors (brown for wood, grey for metal)
  5. Save the design
