How to Make a Super Easy Kandi Star!

this how to make kandi stars! ik i put a lot of steps, but not because its complicated, i used so many so i could make it slow and in depth enough so no one would get lost :D

You will need pony beads and string! As well as scissors (and optionally, something like a stick to tie the end of ur string to to keep the beads from falling off!)

First things first u will place 10 pony beads of ur color choice onto ur string! (I tied my string around a candy cane lol)

Next u wanna tie ur two ends together! Make sure its tight! I tied my string 3three times to make sure the knot stayed together, but u dont have to! When u do that ur not gonna have ur beads in the exact places alr, so ur gonna make ur beads go in an inter-changing pattern of up and down beads, to make it look like a star!

Next step is ur gonna put three beads of ur next color onto ur string!

Then ur gonna feed ur string thru the next peak (essentially skipping the next bead, ur gonna feed ur string thru the next high bead!)

Then ur gonna pull the string so the beads are tight, and adjust em to look like this!

Then ur gonna doit again! Put three beads on ur string, and feed it thru the next peak! Remember to tighten it each time!

Do it again! Ur gonna do this step until u've made 5 peaks!

Once u've gotten to this point and both ends of ur string are at the same place, ur gonna tie the two together! Again, i like to tie mine three times so it will hold really well, but you dont have to! However if ur using the cheap string u can get in bead kits, i recommend it since tying it once or twice will not hold!

Then when ur done, cut off the two ends of ur string near the knot but not on top of it!

And there u have it! Kandi stars! :D my first ever kandis are those two stars right there, and these actually seem like very easy starters!
