Tennessee Shaped Pallet Art
Today I'm making a Pallet sign in the shape of my home state of Tennessee, I have also included a video from my YouTube channel
Supplies
Materials needed: old pallet, Table saw, Jig Saw, Drill, Wood Glue, clamps, hangers and screws
Pattern
Break down pallet, remove all nails. Edge off the edges of the boards
Apply glue to the edges and clamp together, wipe off excess glue with a damp cloth. Let the glue dry for a few hours.
Note if the sign is going to be outside, use Water proof Wood glue
After the glue dries, undo the clamps. Now I have already made a pattern for mine. But if you don't have one, Google search for a image and print one out. I traced the pattern on the board and cut it out with a Jigsaw.
Note you might have to sand the edges just a little
Attache hangers on the back with screws, I done it 16 inches apart
Hang up and enjoy. Thanks for checking out my Instructable
