Waffle Cardboard Chair

IMG_3678.jpg

This project was made from a CAD design that I worked on during my high school days. We were tasked with creating a chair that would be able to easily support any user and be ergonomically comfortable. This chair is made up of purely cardboard and can be easily made by anyone who would like a comfy chair!

Supplies

  1. 1/2" thick cardboard
  2. Ruler/straightedge
  3. boxcutter

The quantity of pieces and the locations for each notch are all laid out in this elevation of one of the main chair pieces and one of the bridging connectors.

The assembly of this chair is as simple as taking all of the main chair pieces and attaching one of the bridging connectors to it. Then by attaching the rest of the bridging connectors to the main pieces
