These settings work perfectly on my 20w diode laser cutter, and it can pop the pieces out – the 3mm birch cuts very cleanly.

1. Cutting (red lines): Power 85–90 %, Speed 400mm/min, 1 pass

Spray evenly with black paint in a well-ventilated area or spray booth.
